The Exilis Elite is a device of the latest generation in this category which combines the ultrasound and the radiofrequency therapy so as to achieve the most efficient, safe and painless non-invasive body contouring, fat removal, and skin and face tightening. All of this is achieved by controlled warming up of the tissue.
The mechanical effects of the ultrasound paired with the high frequency energy allows access to tissues which used to be unreachable. The device precisely and specifically heats up the deeper fat layers, while the cooling on the surface of the skin regulates its temperature and protects its fine structures.
The stimulation of metabolism activities accelerates the breakdown of fat (lipolysis). The heat reaction provokes denaturation of collagen fibers and their consequential remodeling. This means that collagen fibers become shorter and firmer, which results in noticeable body skin tightening. As Some of the outcomes of the treatment are the improvement of the epidermal structure and dermal reorganization, tonus enhancement due to the induction of vasoactive processes, new collagen fibers reorganization and creation due to the increased stimulation of fibroblasts.
WHEN IS IT USED?
The Exilis Elite performs non-invasive facial and bodily treatments with a focus on:
-Localized fat and cellulite,
-Subcutaneous circulation improvement,
-Loosening of the face, neck and skin of the cleavage,
HOW IS IT USED?
The client is placed in a comfortable, relaxed position, usually lying on the back or stomach, depending on the region which is being treated. The treatment is painless and the client feels a pleasant warmth in the treated region. After it is over, patients are able to continue with their daily activities because there are no visible traces of this procedure left on the skin. The duration of the treatment varies, depending on the number of the treated regions, with the average treatment duration of each region being around 15 minutes. It is necessary to perform 4 treatment in a series. The recommended break between the treatments is 7-14 days. Series can be repeated after a period of at least 6 months.
X-WAVE device is an innovative method for cellulite, scars and stretch marks treatment. This form of therapy is based upon the principle of transforming kinetic energy into a high pressure acoustic wave, by using special technology, for the purposes of treating two major causes of cellulite: the fibrosis in connective tissue which amasses fat layers and fat penetration into bottom layers of the dermis. These acoustic waves, combined with vibromassage, are specially designed not to trigger skin damage, which makes the treatment fast, efficient, non-invasive and painless. The device also allows for connective tissue tightening, circulation improvement and collagen production, which in turn enhances skin elasticity and rejuvenates it.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
X-wave device produces a wave which deeply penetrates the skin and reaches as far as the fibrous tissue created around the connective tissue which is also the main cause of cellulite. The acoustic wave influences collagen production which leads to the loosening and breaking up of hard fibers. The skin reclaims its smoothness and receives a more tightened look, while also relieving itself of blocked fat, water and toxins. This process stimulates the nerves and increases the blood flow in the treated area, thereby helping in the production of new, thicker collagen chains which make the skin tighter and smoother. At the same time, the acoustic waves strengthen the skin which prevents the cellulite to penetrate it and create the well-known orange peel effect.
HOW IS THE X-WAVE TREATMENT APPLIED?
Patients are placed in a comfortable, lying position, either on their back or stomach. The neutral gel is used as a contact medium. The treatment is painless, non-invasive, lasting for about 30 minutes, while significant improvements on the skin become visible after just three or four treatments. It is important to point out that the effects of the BTL X-Wave treatment using acoustic waves stay for 6 months or longer, and it is also crucial that the cellulite is kept under control by repeating the treatment two or three times a year.
At Physiatric & Aesthetic the hydrotherapy is carried out with the help of a hydromassage bathtub, whose dimensions and shape allow every client to be in a comfortable and relaxed position. We use hot water, whose temperature is adjusted to suit each patient individually, while the massage of the entire body or a certain body part, if necessary, is achieved by means of jets of water from nozzles and hoses. Moreover, whirling massage is given with the help of special nozzles, and thanks to the small nozzles located at the bottom of the tub, we can also offer air bubbles massages (the so-called pearl baths), that creates the effect of a gentle massage on the surface of the skin and produces a specially pleasant and mild effect.
Hydromassage can be applied independently, but it is the most efficient when it is preceded by X-wave or Exilis treatments with the aim of reducing fat layers and/or cellulite. Furthermore, it is particularly beneficial when it is used after the EMS training with Miha Bodytec device. One treatment usually last for about twenty minutes, and the number of treatments depends on the needs of each individual patient.
MASSAGE FOR AESTHETIC PURPOSES
Massage is a process which involves the use of mechanical energy through various manual techniques, special tools or water so as to apply different types of pressure on soft tissues and body muscles, which leads to improved circulation and lymphatic system i.e. the said tissue’s return to normal. In addition to that, the massage decreases muscle tension, enhances muscle tone, affects the nervous system in the sense of stimulation or sedation, and encourages tissue regeneration. Because of all this, we can say that this form of therapy has a positive impact on all systems of the human body, thus improving the patient’s overall health and mood. Besides its application for medical purposes, certain kinds of massages are applied independently or in combination with other methods for aesthetic purposes, especially when fat layers and/or cellulite need to be reduced.
We provide multiple types of massage, while for aesthetic purposes we can use manual lymphatic drainage or pressotherapy, anti-cellulite massage or hydromassage.
Anti-cellulite massage enhances the dissolving of fat, while also improving the circulation and the drainage of the excess tissue fluid. It affects the physical appearance of the skin itself which looks slightly toned after the treatment. The treatment (one massage) last for forty minutes. A series of ten massages in a row is needed for long-term results, given sometimes daily and sometimes with a one-day break in between the two treatments.
Anti-cellulite massage belongs to a group of massages which are given at a more intense pace using oils or products that additionally help to heat up the tissue and to increase the blood flow. The patient is advised to take a break after a series of ten treatments, unless the individual client’s state proves more massages are needed.
MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
Manual lymphatic drainage is used in all situations when the lymph and the venous circulation ought to be improved. The indication of lymphedemas is the most important, as the primary process of unknown or known cause (congenital lymphoedema), or originated after some surgery, injury, infection, metabolic disorders, etc. The lymph drainage is a significant part of many aesthetic treatments, especially in the case of weight loss or anti-cellulite treatments. It is carried out by applying a gentle pressure, with the aim of enabling and/or enhancing the natural lymph flow (proximal segments are taken to be a starting point), while paying special attention to the drainage of large lymph nodes and pathways. Excellent effects are achieved when the manual lymphatic drainage is preceded by X-wave or Exilis treatments.
Pressotherapy is a painless, non-invasive therapy which enables body detox through the stimulation of the lymph drainage by applying adequate, moderate pressure on upper and lower body extremities. We use specially designed add-ons – trouser legs and sleeves, made up of cylinders which are intermittently filled with air, while the order, duration and pressure are controlled by a pre-programmed software, depending on the issue being treated.
The main characteristic of PRESSOTHERAPY is the improvement of the lymphatic system by accelerating it and redirecting it when necessary, along with a direct or indirect effect on the venous blood flow. Pressotherapy is used with the aim of eliminating fat layers and cellulite, reducing fluids during weight loss procedures, tightening of the skin and the connective tissue, before and after liposuction, relieving pain of swollen (heavy) feet, preventing superficial varicose veins, muscle relaxation and regeneration, as well as overall detox.

The goal of high intensity laser therapy (HILT) is to influence various processes in musculoskeletal system which lead to acute or chronic pain. Pathological processes are caused by degeneration, injuries or poor circulation, and are located in any smaller or larger cavity in the body. The laser beam energy transmitted to the target tissue cells has an anti-inflammatory effect (it reduces inflammation), antiedematous effect (it enhances swelling reabsorption), analgesic effect (it lessens the pain by stimulating nerve endings directly and indirectly) — all of which helps and accelerates tissue regeneration and recovery.
Laser beam, thanks to its features, can be directed precisely to the desired place, while owing to its high power, it can reach the deep tissue too.
By combining the photomechanical stimulation and biostimulation, accelerated healing of the tissue and momentary pain relief by nerve endings stimulation is achieved.
The high power of the beam enables greater penetration, so that the necessary dose of energy reaches the deeper tissues when needed. This is important because pathological process are sometimes located in deeper structures, unreachable in the past: certain joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones… Tissue and cell stimulation (biostimulation) leads to the start of a series of biological signals which further influence and accelerate healing and regeneration processes, microcirculation and lymphatic drainage.
WHEN IS THE HILT APPLIED?
High intensity laser therapy is used for a range of painful conditions, and, if necessary, in combination with other methods of physical therapy.
It is most often used to treat the following conditions:
-after sports and other kinds of injuries (sprained ankle),
-degenerative diseases of peripheral joints (hip, knee, shoulder, small joints of the hands and feet…),
-pain in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar vertebrae area caused by a number of things,
-painful shoulder, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow,
-tendon and ligament injuries and inflammation,
-pain in foot region due to deformities and encumbrance (plantar fasciitis),
-tension and pain in muscles,
-damaged peripheral nerves.
HOW IS THE HILT APPLIED?
Patients are placed in a comfortable, relaxed position, either on their stomach or back, depending on the region being treated. Both the patient and the physical therapist wear protective glasses. The treatment is painless and it most often consists of two phases. During the first phase, analgesia is carried out, and during the second, biostimulation, when the patient feels gentle warmth. The duration of the treatment can vary depending on the kind of issue being attended. It usually lasts for about twenty minutes.
Pressotherapy is painless, non-invasive therapy which enables body detox through the stimulation of the lymph drainage by applying adequate, moderate pressure on upper and lower body extremities. We use specially designed add-ons – trouser legs and sleeves, made up of cylinders which are intermittently filled with air, while the order, duration and pressure are controlled by a pre-programmed software, depending on the issue being treated.
The lymphatic system is one of of the particularly important constituent parts of the immune systems, and it is made of lymph nodes, thymus and spleen, interconnected with lymph vessels. The LYMPH, a colorless liquid rich in lymphocytes, cells which offer the body’s immune response, circulates through this system. The lymph system communicates with the cardiovascular system through venous blood vessels, so its well functioning is of great value to the entire circulation.
The main characteristic of PRESSOTHERAPY is the improvement of the lymphatic system by accelerating it and redirecting it when necessary, along with a direct or indirect effect on the venous blood flow.
Pressotherapy is applied in cases of cellulite and fat layer removal, fluid reduction in procedures of weight loss, skin and connective tissue tightening, before and after liposuction treatments, discomfort caused by swollen (heavy) feet, prevention of varicose veins, muscle relaxation and regeneration, as well as detoxification in general.
WHEN IS THE PRESSOTHERAPY APPLIED?
Pressotherapy is applied in cases of:
– detoxification (reduction and elimination of excess water and toxins),
– fluid reduction in procedures of weight loss,
– cellulite prevention and reduction,
– liposuction treatments (before and after),
– skin and connective tissue tightening.
WHEN IS THE PRESSOTHERAPY APPLIED?
During the treatment application itself the patient is fully-dressed, in a relaxed, horizontal position, while the treatment process itself is exceptionally pleasant. One session usually lasts for thirty to sixty minutes, and can be combined with other methods of physical therapy, as well as different aesthetic treatments.
Miha Bodytec is the latest generation of EMS devices made in accordance with German technology. It works on the principle of low intensity alternating current and it is highly efficient and safe for the human body. Miha Bodytec iis ideal for those with demanding careers, as well as those leading a fast paced life and value their leisure time. It is used by both amateurs and professional athletes. Miha Bodytec is the official device of the German Olympic committee.
It won a prestigious Plus X Award for the most innovative brand of 2014.
Miha Bodytec works on the principle of electrostimulation of the entire musculature which allows muscle contractions difficult to achieve by weight lifting alone. Practice with Miha Bodytec for a period of twenty minutes of pure muscle training, without any straining of tendons or joints, directly results in increased burning of calories, weight loss, cellulite reduction, improvement of the organism’s state in general, pain relief, increased endurance, strength and vitality.
With Miha Bodytec in just a few weeks you can achieve results you used to need months for. Fast twenty-minute practice is a physical equivalent to a two-hour practice at the gym. Electrical impulses make up to eighty five contractions, thereby influencing the development of fast-twitch muscle fibers the most. Hence, the speed, dynamic and time of the reaction is improved.
Miha Bodytec simultaneously stimulates both the extensors and flexors which makes it a rather unique device. During the fifteen-minute exercise each muscle makes hundred and fifty more contractions than during the traditional practice of muscle strength at the gym.
WHEN IS THE MIHA BODYTEC APPLIED?
Miha Bodytec is applied in situations when we want to achieve results quickly, whether the clients want to keep or change their body shape, when it comes to people who play sports both recreationally and professionally; during the recovery after an injury, surgery, birth, etc.
Each practice is individually adjusted to the need of the trainee and made by a specially educated physical therapist. Depending on the current physical condition and the ultimate goal, Miha Bodytec device combines:
-practice for muscle strength, endurance and explosiveness through different static and dynamic exercises,
-practice for losing weight, accelerating metabolism and circulation (anti-cellulite program),
-program for muscle relaxation after practice (relaxation massage).
With this we achieve the following effects:
-all largest and most important muscle groups in our bodies are activated,
-muscles are shaped and strengthened, thus improving general mobility,
-Blood flow is increased and metabolism is accelerated,
-There is a direct influence on the subcutaneous tissue (fat layers and cellulite),
-Fat layers are reduced and exchanged for muscle mass,
-Joints are not encumbered just like in the usual methods of exercise.
HOW IS MIHA BODYTEC APPLIED?
Plug&Play principle of Miha Bodytec allows the practice to last a total of fifteen minutes. Modular system individually stimulates all muscles from head to toe. Just two workouts a week are sufficient to achieve optimal results along with your dedication and persistence in respecting the main principles of proper diet. Workouts are done individually under the expert supervision of a qualified and trained physical therapist and are completely adapted to the special needs of each trainee. Miha Bodytec workouts ought to be carried out by those who wish to keep or improve their health and enhance their quality of life, the ultimate goal being a total physical, mental and spiritual balance.
