What is X-Wave?
X-WAVE device is an innovative method for cellulite,scars and stretch marks treatment. This form of therapy is based upon the principle of transforming kinetic energy into a high pressure acoustic wave, by using special technology, for the purposes of treating two major causes of cellulite: the fibrosis in connective tissue which amasses fat layers and fat penetration into bottom layers of the dermis. These acoustic waves, combined with vibromassage, are specially designed not to trigger skin damage, which makes the treatment fast, efficient, non-invasive and painless. How does it work?
X-wave device produces a wave which deeply penetrates the skin and reaches as far as the fibrous tissue created around the connective tissue which is also the main cause of cellulite. The acoustic wave influences collagen production which leads to the loosening and breaking up of hard fibers. The skin reclaims its smoothness and receives a more tightened look, while also relieving itself of blocked fat, water and toxins. This process stimulates the nerves and increases the blood flow in the treated area, thereby helping in the production of new, thicker collagen chains which make the skin tighter and smoother. At the same time, the acoustic waves strengthen the skin which prevents the cellulite to penetrate it and create the well-known orange peel effect.
How is the x-wave treatment applied?
Patients are placed in a comfortable, lying position, either on their back or stomach. The neutral gel is used as a contact medium. The treatment is painless, non-invasive, lasting for about 30 minutes, while significant improvements on the skin become visible after just three or four treatments. It is important to point out that the effects of the BTL X-Wave treatment using acoustic waves stay for 6 months or longer, and it is also crucial that the cellulite is kept under control by repeating the treatment two or three times a year.
